FUNCTION Cassing
1. Protect various components in it from dust, heat, water, or other debris on the job

2. Casing is also important because almost all kinds of peripherals motherboards, CD-ROM drive, hard drive, and floppy drives use the chassis as a place holder, aka the day-to-day workings.

3. Exhaust fan that also serves as a cooling chamber, using the casing as a place to operate regulate the temperature inside the CPU.

4. PC cases are also very important as a place holder buttons and lights

5. Casing also has an important task that is as "residence" power supply that provides power for all components.

This type of computer case is based on shape, namely:
1. desktop chassis
2. tower casing

Casing Desktop
Desktop casing is a casing shaped like a box that has a width of approximately 30-40 cm and a length of approximately 50-60 cm. Generally used as a pedestal chassis desktop monitor. Blank desktop chassis are marketed today are already equipped with power supply unit (PSU), speakers, lights for hard drive, lamp power, turbo lights, lamps and cables

Tower casing
Generally over 80 486 computer using the casing tower, but take up less space as a foothold, the room inside the computer case is more extensive, so the temperature in the computer case heat does not faster and also easier to add other components. Tower type computer casing comprising:

   a. mini tower
Mini-tower casing, middle tower, and towers basically almost the same. What distinguishes from these species is the size, both height, width or length.

    b. middle tower
Casing tower market has also been equipped with a power supply unit (PSU), power light, turbo lights, lamps and cables.
